Entertainment test
Your traveler archetype
Twenty situations about leaving, packing and staying in, and one traveler archetype out of five. Entertainment, no scientific value.
1What this test counts
1.1The themes counted
Your answers are spread across 5 themes, each counted on its own.
| Theme | Questions |
|---|---|
| No Plan, Just Go | 4 |
| The Shared Spreadsheet | 4 |
| Nothing On The Schedule | 4 |
| The Table That Runs Late | 4 |
| The Sofa, Unapologetic | 4 |
- Each question feeds a single theme: the column total is the number of questions in the test.
1.2Limits of this test
This test does not tell you how you actually travel, who you should travel with, or what to do with your next holiday. It measures nothing and compares nobody. None of the five archetypes beats another, including the one that stays on the sofa. It is a game, with no scientific value.
2How this test is made
This test is written for Brain Quiz, for fun: the situations are invented and the score counts answers in a game.
Entertainment test. The twenty situations were written for Brain Quiz and reproduce no published scale. The five archetypes are an editorial invention, they refer to no existing typology.

2.1How the score is counted
Each situation is worth 0 to 4 points, multiplied by its weight, and the total is rescaled to 100. That overall score expresses one thing only: how strongly the twenty situations spoke to you. It says nothing about how well you travel, and nothing about one archetype being better than another. The real result is the dominant archetype, meaning the axis where your answers came out highest. All five axes carry exactly the same total weight, so none of them starts with a head start. Weights and bands were set by the editorial team, they come from no calibration.
3About this test
There are as many ways to travel as there are people travelling, and roughly as many arguments about when the packing should start. This self-observation questionnaire puts twenty very ordinary situations in front of you: the bag started the night before, the shared document where somebody wrote down every single departure time, the morning spent doing absolutely nothing, the dinner that runs three hours past its natural end, and the bank holiday weekend spent at home with zero regret. All you do is say how much each one sounds like you. Five archetypes are scored in parallel: no plan just go, the shared spreadsheet, nothing on the schedule, the table that runs late, and the sofa unapologetic. Whichever comes out highest becomes your dominant archetype. The other four stay visible, because nobody is made of one piece: you can absolutely build the group itinerary and still dream of doing nothing for three days straight. No archetype beats another, and the sofa is not the consolation prize at the bottom of a ranking. The overall score only expresses how strongly you agreed with the situations, never the quality of your holidays. Three minutes, no sign-up, no sensitive data collected. This is an entertainment test with no scientific value, built to be shared.

Yes, it happens. The one displayed is whichever edges ahead, and all five scores stay visible so you can see how close it was.
No. The five archetypes sit on the same level, none is better or worse. Staying home is a way of spending your time off like any other.
