What Brain Quiz is
Brain Quiz offers self-observation questionnaires: sets of questions that help you put words on how you function, place it against what the literature describes, and decide whether the subject is worth raising with a professional.
It is a starting point for thinking, not a finish line. The useful question is not whether a test puts you in a box, but whether what it reflects back rings true and helps you act.
Two universes, never mixed
Self-observation tests are written in a sober tone, display their sources, methodology and limits, and are open from age 16.
Entertainment tests own their tongue-in-cheek tone. They make no scientific claim, carry an explicit badge, collect no health data and require no account.
An entertainment test never claims to determine a person's orientation, identity, origin, religion or health status, and never mocks characteristics people did not choose.
How the tests are built
- Each test states whether it reuses a published scale, with its reference and licence, or whether it is our own questionnaire built from the literature.
- Every source cited is real and verifiable: authors, year, title, and identifier or link. A source we could not verify is not cited.
- Each test has a public methodology page: where the questions come from, how the score is computed, and what the result does not say.
- A test is published only once it is complete in the three languages of the site, properly adapted rather than translated word for word.
What our tests do not do
They cannot establish or rule out a condition, do not replace an assessment by a health professional, and produce no document that can be used against a third party.
We do not use assertive wording about your state. A high result means your answers show traits frequently associated with a given way of functioning, nothing more, and that is a reason to talk to a professional rather than to conclude on your own.
Who publishes the site
Brain Quiz is published by GHIS, a French SASU registered with the Manosque Trade Register, run by Ghislain Levreau, who is also the publication director.
We are not health professionals and we do not claim to be. Our job is to make published literature readable, to cite what we rely on, and never to claim more than the data supports.
How the service is funded
The site is funded by the sale of detailed reports. Tests, scores and per-axis explanations stay free.
No advertising is served on self-observation tests. Your answers are never sold, rented or shared for commercial purposes, and no data broker is involved.
Our commitments
- A visible warning on every test page, every result and every downloadable document.
- Explicit consent asked before any test involving health data, separate from the terms of use.
- Your data exportable and deletable on your own from your account area.
- A public, dated correction whenever an error is reported to us.
- No invented source, no claim about your health, no unverified figure.
