We all dream of raising a child so that he confidently stepped into the big world and felt free in it. But to grow such a person is a great work, which not everyone can do. How do I do it "perfectly"? So that we are proud of the child and realize that we have brought up a real person-a noble and moral one.
The older the children get, the more clearly they realize how much their parents have done for them. Of course, they do not remember how you changed their diapers, fed them, walked with them, but looking at how other parents mess with their babies, they understand that you also took care of them. And when a child is sure of your love, he appreciates everything you do for him. He is grateful for the delicious lunch, for what you are reading him to sleep, that teach him to ride a bike, help with homework, care for him when he is sick, comforted when he's down, take him to the movies, to the circus, buying him sweets and gifts.
Then the child learns that you are not only helping him. Gradually, he learns to take care of the sick, learns to share with the poor. Most often, children like to participate in such projects, especially if they are waiting to meet new people. You don't have to go far to find someone who needs help. There are destitute people in any city. Your help is required in orphanages, charity canteens, hospitals, and nursing homes. You can join with the parishioners of your Church, with other families. Select one day per week. When parents and children work together for the benefit of others, the child learns to help others with joy.
Become an example
Show by your example how to act in a particular case. It will be strange to inspire the child with the truth "what is good and what is bad" and in front of his eyes to act contrary to these rules.
And be sure to learn to thank, say words of courtesy, manage emotions and sincerely wish good to people around you. Tell us that everyone who meets us on the way may not know "our" rules and act differently. But this should not affect our behavior, it is not necessary to repeat: "As for me, so me"; "as for everyone, so me". We can become an example for many people-by expressing good and doing good deeds.
Read books
Good good fairy tales, instructive stories-read them with your child and be sure to understand why the characters did exactly that. What would your son, daughter, do in their place? What are good and bad actions? Analyzing the actions of book characters, we absorb the rules and laws that the child will be guided by later.
Spend time together
You must understand your baby like no other. You should know his thoughts, his attitude to the people around him and the world in General, how he communicates with his peers. To do this, it is important to spend time together as often as possible and pass on the wisdom you have accumulated over your life through classes and games. Do this before your child turns into a negative teenager and refuses to listen to you.
